After deploying the MariaDB service in CryptoHub, you must deploy a service endpoint. Endpoints refer to devices authorized to access this service. In the Endpoints menu, you can view and filter details about existing endpoints. You can also add new endpoints by selecting [ Add New ]. When prompted, specify the endpoint details.

Deploy service endpoint

Perform the following steps to deploy a service endpoint:

Go to the Endpoints menu inside the MariaDB service you deployed.

In the Manage Endpoints menu, select [ Add New ].

In the Add Endpoint dialog:
  • (Optional) Enter identifier or leave empty for auto-generation
  • Leave the CryptoHub Hostname that is auto-populated.
  • Select Windows 64 or 32-bit as the Platform.
The MariaDB integration uses the CryptoHub Transparent Data Protection (TDP), currently only supported on Windows.

Select [ Add Endpoint ].
The browser prompts you to download a zip file containing the TDP agent installer, configuration files, and client PKI.
