After deploying the SAP HANA service in CryptoHub, deploy a service endpoint. An endpoint represents a host authorized to access the service and provides the credentials — the API key, service UUID, and trust chain — that the TDP agent uses to authenticate to CryptoHub.

Deploy service endpoint

Perform the following steps to deploy the service endpoint:
1
Go to the Endpoints menu inside the SAP HANA service you deployed.
2
In the Manage Endpoints menu, select [ Add New ].
3
In the Add Endpoint dialog:
  • (Optional) Enter an identifier, or leave it empty for auto-generation.
  • Leave the CryptoHub Hostname that is auto-populated.
  • Select the Platform for the endpoint bundle.
4
Select [ Add Endpoint ].
The browser prompts you to download a bundle containing the endpoint credentials and client PKI (for example, the API key, service UUID, and trust chain).
The endpoint bundle carries the values the Linux TDP agent needs to authenticate: the CryptoHub host, the API key, the service UUID, and the trust chain. You transcribe these into the agent configuration when you install and configure the TDP agent.
