Before beginning, ensure your environment conforms to the following specifications:

Supported hardware:

  • , 7.0.2.x and later

Supported operating systems:

  • Microsoft Windows 7 and later
  • Linux (Ubuntu, Debian, and Red Hat-based distributions

Other:

  • Oracle Java 11, 17, or 21
  • OpenSSL

To ensure proper compatibility between Java SunPKCS11 and the Futurex PKCS11 module, you must use Oracle Java instead of OpenJDK. We support Oracle Java 11, 17, and 21.
