This document provides information on configuring the Vectera Plus HSM with Adobe Acrobat Desktop by using PKCS #11 libraries. For additional questions related to your HSM, see the relevant user guide.

About Adobe Acrobat Desktop

Adobe Acrobat Desktop supports the use of certificates for digital signatures through the PKCS #11 standard, which enables it to interact with cryptographic tokens, such as smart cards or USB tokens. This capability ensures the security and authenticity of documents. The integration not only enhances the security of digital signatures but also streamlines the signing process for users who need to authenticate their identity through secure means.

Guardian integration

The Guardian Series 3 introduces mission-critical viability to core cryptographic infrastructure, including:
  • Centralization of device management
  • Elimination of points of failure
  • Distribution of transaction loads
  • Group-specific function blocking
  • User-defined grouping systems
See the applicable guide in the Futurex Portal for configuring HSMs with the Guardian Series 3, including PKCS #11 and CNG configuration.
