Configure the Futurex PKCS #11 library in vSEC:CMS

before performing the steps in this section, install and set up vsec\ cms per the instructions outlined in the following versasec support article https //versasec zendesk com/hc/enus/articles/360014298379 after you install and configure vsec\ cms, perform the following tasks to configure the {{futurex}} pkcs #11 (fxpkcs11) library in vsec\ cms 1 | log in to the vsec\ cms operator console (oc) start the vsec\ cms admin application when prompted, insert your system owner (so) hardware credential enter the operator passcode for the system owner and select \[ authenticate ] if the authentication succeeds, the admin application starts and logs you into the operator console 2 | enable the hsm connector in the navigation menu, select options > connections select \[ configure ] in the extras connector configuration dialog, select hardware security module (hsm) in the list of available connectors , select the >> button, and select \[ ok ] upon success, hardware security module (hsm) now displays under enabled connections 3 | add a new hsm connection template and confirm successful connection to the vectera plus in the navigation menu, select options > connections select \[ add ] in the hsm configuration dialog, enter a name for the template and select futurex virtucrypt in the drop down list if vsec\ cms can find the {{futurex}} pkcs #11 module in the system path, the hsm parameters section appears, and the path to the fxpkcs11 dll file displays in the pkcs11 dll name field in the slot field, select slot number 0 in the pin field, enter the password for the identity configured in the fxpkcs11 configuration file (i e , fxpkcs11 cfg ), then select \[ check connection ] if the connection succeeds, you see the following message server connection successfully established select \[ ok ] , then select \[ save ] to finish creating the template
