this section explores the services page on {{ch}} and explains what deployable services are, what they can do, how to use them, and more to access the services page and deploy an integrated service, follow this step you need the services management permission to access the services page from the left side menu, select services from here, you can access the following tabs available services used to deploy a new service deployed services to manage existing services already deployed to the unit add a service the available services tab displays a list of all undeployed services that you can add to your {{ch}} device to deploy a service, follow these steps from the left side menu, select services select available services for a list of all undeployed services that you can add to your {{ch}} to find the service you want to add, perform one of the following options use the left side menu to browse by category, for example, data storage then scroll until you find the service you would like to add select home from the left side menu and use the search bar at the top enter the name of the service you're looking for after you find a service you want to add, select it, and you can perform the following options select \[ deploy ] to deploy the service select \[ documentation ] to read further documentation on the service hover your mouse over the service on the available services page and select the \[ deploy ] button that pops up follow the on screen instructions to deploy the service depending on the service you deploy, the instructions might vary, but generally, you must perform the following tasks name the service (defaults to the official name) (optional) modify the service category decide what roles or identities need access manage services depending on the type of service you've deployed, you have different management tools available to you some services deploy clients to one or multiple workstations or require external accounts to access all available and deployed services on your unit, you need the services management permission to access and manage only specifically deployed services, you need the deployed service added to the service permissions list of your role manage a deployed service the deployed services tab lists all deployed services you have added to your {{ch}} device after you deploy a service, you might be able to make configuration changes or further use the service by selecting it from the deployed services page to access a deployed service, follow these steps from the left side menu, select services go to the deployed services tab to access services you have already deployed to your {{ch}} services are split into categories locate the service you want to use and then select it to open it you can also hover your mouse over the deployed service to display the main function options select one to access it immediately for example, a service might help you manage keys, so the \[ keys ] option appears after the service is open, you see the following details a description of the service name type category date of creation you also have actions these include access to the main functionality of the service it might include options to configure the service, instructions, and logs unique to the service delete a deployed service if you want to remove a deployed service, follow these steps from the left side menu, select services go to deployed services to access the services you have already deployed to your {{ch}} device select the service you want to remove to open the service page select the trashcan icon in the upper right the delete service window asks you what you want to do with the associated objects, such as roles and identities created specifically for this service you need to identify which role becomes the parent of any other orphaned objects if you decide to delete them configuration description delete remove the service from your {{ch}} device you can redeploy the service later if needed preserve keep them active and available on your {{ch}} device you must then decide what to do with the roles and identities created for this service, and you might need to select a role to reparent associated objects archive keep them inactive and hidden on your {{ch}} device you must then decide what to do with the roles and identities created for this service, and you might need to select a role to reparent associated objects
