Create a new service endpoint

After deploying the PostgreSQL service in , you must deploy a service endpoint. Endpoints refer to devices authorized to access this service. In the Endpoints menu, you can view and filter details about existing endpoints. You can also add new endpoints by clicking the [ Add New ] button. This will prompt you to specify the endpoint details. Detailed instructions for deploying a service endpoint are provided below.

Go to the Endpoints menu inside the PostgreSQL service you deployed.

In the Manage Endpoints menu, select [ Add New ].

In the Add Endpoint dialog:

  • (Optional) Enter identifier or leave empty for auto-generation
  • Leave the Hostname that is auto-populated.
  • Select Windows 64 or 32-bit as the Platform.

The PostgreSQL integration uses CryptoHub Transparent Data Protection (TDP), which is currently only supported on Windows.

Select [ Add Endpoint ]. The browser prompts you to download a zip file containing the TDP agent installer, configuration files, and client PKI.
