# Syslog server configuration for VirtuCrypt

> Introduces syslog export configuration in the VirtuCrypt Intelligence Portal (VIP) at a conceptual level.

This guide shows how to export audit logs from the VirtuCrypt Intelligence Portal (VIP) to an external syslog server. You configure one or more syslog targets, secure the connection with TLS, and optionally restrict delivery to whitelisted destinations.
