# Enable an IdP

> Step-by-step instructions to enable an external identity provider in the VirtuCrypt Intelligence Portal.

Perform the following steps in the VirtuCrypt Intelligence Portal (VIP) to enable an IdP:

    Log in to your VIP account with a user having the administrator role.

    In the left-hand side menu, go to **Settings** > **Credentials**.
  </Step>

  <Step>
    In the **Allowed Flows** section, disable all authentication methods except for your external identity provider.

      The top of the page shows a URL that you can use to authenticate by using the configured authentication flows for your company (such as `https://testvip.virtucrypt.com/login?account_slug=virtucrypt-demo`).

    Go to the company account-specific URL to display the available authentication methods.
