This guide includes instructions for creating the VAP connection through the Azure Management Platform. To connect to a VAP, you must create a private endpoint through the Private Link functionality of the Microsoft Azure dashboard. This endpoint then points to the VAP ID to allow connectivity. Perform the following steps to establish the connection:
1
Sign in to the Azure Management Platform.
2
From the left-side menu, go to All Services and search for Private Link, selecting it to be redirected to the endpoint service page.
3
Select [ Create private endpoint ].
4
Next, complete the Basic information about your new private endpoint. Select the subscription details and resource group applicable to your organization.
VAPs are region-specific. Make sure to select the exact region you want to connect from.
Tab 1: Basics
5
On the second tab,Resource, select the bottom connection method,Connect to Azure resource by resource ID or alias. Futurex provides the resource ID or alias by email.
Tab 2: Resource
6
Next, configure the endpoint, its network, and security groups per your standards.
7
(Optional) Add tags.
8
Review and create the endpoint.
The endpoint is now created, and Futurex is notified to accept the private link endpoint connection. Once accepted, you have a local IP on the server, which connects to VirtuCrypt.
