# Validate and test

> Procedures to validate and test the OpenSSL provider architecture post-integration with HSM.

Perform the following tasks to test OpenSSL provider architecture:

1. Using OpenVPN Connect, validate the connection.

## Using OpenVPN Connect application, validate the connection

<Steps>
  <Step>
    In the main menu of the OpenVPN Connect app, the newly created profile should be present.
  </Step>

  <Step>
    Click on `Connect`.
  </Step>

  <Step>
    Enter the username and password that was created in step 4 in [**Configure OpenVPN Access Server and a test client**](../Integration_Steps/Configure_OpenVPN_Access_Server_and_setup_a_test_client).
  </Step>

  <Step>
    After a few moments, if everything was configured correctly, the top should show `Securely Connected!` and data should be receiving and sending.
