Connect to the Vectera Plus to begin configuration. You can use either Excrypt Manager or FXCLI.

Connect the USB cable

Connect a USB cable from the front USB port of the Vectera Plus to the configuration workstation.

Launch Excrypt Manager

Open Excrypt Manager and select the USB connection.
If this is the first time connecting, the default administrator credentials are used. Change the default password after the first login.

Log in with dual-control administrator credentials

Log in with two administrator identities. Both administrators must authenticate to access the HSM configuration.

Connect to the HSM via USB

Run the following command to connect over USB.
FXCLI
connect usb

Log in with administrator credentials

Log in with both administrator identities.
FXCLI
login user <admin1> <password>
login user <admin2> <password>
Two administrator logins are required for dual-control access.
