# Configure Active Directory (only for Kerberos authentication)

> Procedural guide to configure Active Directory for Kerberos authentication with CryptoHub.

Perform the following steps to configure **Active Directory**. This connects CryptoHub to your organization Active Directory, allowing AD users to access the CryptoHub based on their assigned roles.

    Go to **Identity & Access Management**, then select the **Active Directory** tab.
  </Step>

  <Step>
    Select **\[ Connect ]**.
  </Step>

  <Step>
    Enter administrator credentials to connect CryptoHub to your Active Directory domain. After you connect, you can manage CryptoHub access for AD users through your directory.
  </Step>

  <Step>
    Enter your domain administrator credentials in the **Username**(such as `Administrator@fx.futurex.com`) and **Password** fields.
  </Step>

  <Step>
    (Optional) Expand the **Advanced** drop-down list. Enter the IP address or Domain Name of your **Domain Controller** and decide if you want to enable **One-step LDAP registration**.

    Select **\[ Join ]**.
