Perform the following steps to create XKS Key Store in CryptoHub:

Log in to CryptoHub with a role that has permissions to manage the Amazon XKS service you deployed.

Go to the service management page for your Amazon XKS service.

Select [ Key Stores ].

Select [ Add New ].

In the Create Key Store dialog, configure the following settings:
  • KeyStore Name: Enter a name for the key store
  • Sync KeyStore with Amazon: Choose if you want the CryptoHub KeyStore to sync with Amazon
  • AWS KeyStore ID: This option displays only if you did not select the Sync KeyStore with Amazon option. Paste or type the Custom key store ID if not syncing.
  • Select [ Submit ]
If key store names do not match in both AWS and CryptoHub, during the next sync request, Amazon changes the store name to match the CryptoHub setting.
If you want to edit a key store, you must disconnect the key store in AWS first. Find this option in Store > Key Store Actions.
