# Deploy the service

> Deploy the strongSwan ClientApplication service in CryptoHub.

Deploy the strongSwan service before you create its client endpoint.

  <Step title="Open the strongSwan template">
    Sign in to CryptoHub under dual control.

    Open **Services**, select **VPN**, and select **strongSwan**.

  <Step title="Name the service">
    Select **DEPLOY**. Enter a name that identifies the VPN deployment.

  <Step title="Deploy the service">
    Review the access-control settings, then select **DEPLOY**.
  </Step>

  CryptoHub opens the service and displays its **Endpoints** page. The endpoint definition uses the REST API.
